ProScan Media Products expands capacity with new facility

ProScan Media Products, a label manufacturer with over 25 years of excellence, has announced the official opening of its new US location in Orlando, FL. This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth and reinforces its commitment to delivering excellent service, increased production capacity, and innovative labeling solutions to clients across North America.

The new 25,000-square-foot facility in Orlando significantly expands ProScan Media Products’ production capacity and service capabilities. With the addition of the new facility, ProScan Media Products now operates three production facilities and 12 presses, with three additional presses scheduled for installation to support continued growth.

The facility also introduces new technology and production capabilities designed to help customers address increasingly complex labeling requirements.

Advanced Variable Data Printing

The Orlando location features advanced digital printing technology, including a Domino K600i digital UV inkjet printhead integrated into the production environment. The K600i provides high-speed, 600 dpi variable data printing for a wide range of applications, including sequential and random numbering, alphanumeric information, linear barcodes, 2D codes, QR codes, and variable images.

This capability enables ProScan Media Products to produce highly accurate, personalized, and trackable labels without the need for traditional static plates for variable information, supporting applications such as inventory control, logistics, track and trace, food safety, brand protection, and other data-driven labeling requirements.

New Linerless Label Production Capabilities

ProScan Media Products has also expanded its portfolio with new linerless label manufacturing capabilities at the Orlando facility. The company recently installed an OMEGA 540, a purpose-built linerless converting line that integrates flexographic printing, UV silicone coating, hot-melt adhesive coating, precision diecutting, slitting, and high-efficiency rewinding into a single production platform.

By eliminating the release liner, linerless labels can reduce material waste and support more efficient labeling operations. The OMEGA 540’s automated web guiding, tension control, servo motion, precision coating and converting systems are designed to deliver consistent quality and reliable performance for a growing range of linerless label applications.

Introducing the Value Line

In addition to its premium offerings, ProScan Media Products is launching a value line from the Orlando location, featuring competitively priced label solutions in commonly used formats and sizes.
